I haven't been able to find any Canon battery grips on Don's site but when I was there last week they told me that they actually have some Canon battery grips in stock even though it's not shown on their website so you may want to call them and ask.
There is actually a whole accessory kit for Rebel XTI :

It is a quite old camera and is no longer in production maybe that's why it is so hard to find a battery grip for it maybe you want to put an ad on a site for selling and buying used stuff if you don't mind buying a used grip.

Damn it's expensive, thanks Quotex smile.gif ... I can still buy it it's not out of stock - lol.

Is it better to buy a used or a new battery grip? I'd really like one of these.

Well that is an accessory kit so it's a bit more expensive than the grip itself. I think the grip itself should be less than 200 bucks and yes it's quite a lot for a piece of plastic casing with a button lol.

The only good thing about used battery grips is that you could get them quite cheap if you are lucky otherwise it's always best to buy brand new stuff lol. I kinda want to buy a grip for my 40D as well but it's even more expensive than yours and I kinda want to get a tripod and Sigma 10-20mm lens first.

I have seen a very similar one at Best Buy but I believe they are for Rebel XT/EOS 350D and is probably not compatible with the newer XTI/EOS 400D but I could be wrong though. You should definitely call them and ask.

Hmm - thanks biggrin.gif I didn't know that they made "off brands" for this type of thing.
