hey!

I tried to do a panorama last week but when I tried to stitch it with photoshop it came out REALLY bad... so I downloaded a program, which is specialised on panoramic pictures... is really a different program necessary or did I do something wrong with photoshop Cs3?

thanks

How exactly did it turn out bad? It might have just been a problem with the photographs you tried to put together.

well it was able to see all the different pictures, but with the other program it came out good.. so it can not be because of the photos...

Just Google up "Panoramic Guide"
I would give you a guide now but I'm at school lol.

You just need to know where to overlap the images when taking them and where to point the camera.
Then Photoshop CS3 can do everything else, crop then GG.

Hey, I used this guide for my first panorama picture: http://www.teamphotoshop.com/articles-Photography-How-to-make-panorama-photos-17,8,148a.html

I didn't really like the guide so much though. I have a feeling there is a much more simpler one out there. But you can give this one a shot and see how it turns out! You use Photoshop for it smile.gif

I use panorama factory v4 ... works pretty good and usually does things right when on "auto" ... so whatever.

Vista preinstalled panorama maker is good I think.
