Pretty much, I had a clear glass of water full to the very top in a sink.
Then, moved the tap directly over the glass and turned it on a very small amount so a drop came every 10-15 seconds.

Then, I setup my tripod making my lens directly 1meter away from the cop. (Shortest focusing distance)
Then, zoomed it into 200mm, locked tripod and everything in pointing directly at the drips.

Then just kept pressing the shutter.

I learned that you should press the shutter right when you see the water droplet leave the faucet as by the time the shutter opens the water will
be directly splashing in the glass!
