Haven't really been taking pictures lately, but got up this morning, and it was beautiful. Couldn't drive anywhere decent, so I took it from my window.

Hopefully I can get some better photos later on when I'm in the U S of A! ohmy.gif

2. Oh, and I liked this picture, too, but it's so boring: lol!

I like the first picture even though the Ford sign thing kinda ruined it just like the Office Depot sign that ruined one of my sunset pictures lol. I didn't know the sunrise here could be that red too and the colors are just so amazing. Well at least you seem to have a hell of a nice view from your room/apartment. lmao the only thing I can see from my apartment is old windows and old creepy brickwall sleep.gif.
Wow so you are going to the States? It has been years since I was there the last time lol. Well just don't forget to take LOTS of pictures and share with us smile.gif

The second picture isn't that boring. I kinda like the shallow depth of view but it would definitely be interesting if you had food or fruit on it tongue.gif

EDIT: oh I just kinda saw this note in your profile:

well if it will make you feel better I am sure a lot of people in here are feeling the same way you are doing now because everyone knows how much winters stink. I may have got one or two good pictures since I bought my second EOS 40D but I also had to endure this extreme cold weather here and was crazy enough to walk around when it's -30 outside and that's only because I am new to this country and this city and I just find a lot of things and places amusing but I have started to get tired of walking around and trying to find things or places to take pictures of lol.

If only you had a graduated ND filter so the foreground wasn't underexposed.

i like the sunrise pic, its good

i was expecting some very underexposed traditional sunrise and instead i see an urban naturally exposed picture which is nice to see for a change. I think if you underexpose a little(more) you might be able to turn the plant and cars black, but leave the street lights, ford sign and the sunset with nice bright colours.

I'm going to the states for ahockey tournament, I'm not sure how many photos I'll be able to capture, but I do plan on getting some.

Haha - I know! But I'm going to guess that those are damn expensive for the lens I have ohmy.gif 77mm one ohmy.gif I'm not sure I want to buy one for my crappy 55mm lens.

wow really? That sounds really exciting maybe you should become a pro player smile.gif well I know what you think about going pro with hockey and photography but sometimes you just don't know until you have really tried.
btw where in the states are you going?

and as you see that sunrise picture is actually whole a lot better than you thought tongue.gif I am probably not the right person to say this but I think you need to stop undervaluing yourself and your talents smile.gif
