These are an attempt to redeem my failure from earlier today... I decided to play with some colors and very slow shutter speeds... Couldn't resist tongue.gif

By the way... They aren't really glowsticks... Its my iPod biggrin.gif

I tried this with a lazer pen, but it failed - lmao. I didn't have a dark enough room. I gotta try this sometime, looks like fun!

I think the glow generated by a laser pen isn't wide enough to give a good effect.

It really looks cool with glowsticks though. Think I am gonna go to the dollar store and buy one or two packs of glow sticks tomorrow biggrin.gif.

LIke I said though, this was done with my iPod... What I really wanted to try was a longer shutter speed. And somehow have my glow from my ipod change colors... I think that'd turn out kinda fun... I also wanted to try drawing some actual shapes with the glow... Now that I know my ipod works I'll have to put some more effort into trying those things out...

Well I am sure actual glow sticks would be even better than ipod tongue.gif and it would probably be easier to "draw" shapes and letters too lol. I have seen people doing that before and I believe Chantal has done that long ago and I always found those light effects amusing but I guess I kinda just forgot about it while busy trying to take some serious photos but now when it's like -30 outside every freaking day it is time for me to try to find stuff to take pictures of indoor like glowsticks biggrin.gif besides I have a huge empty living room which I could turn into some kind of a photo studio laugh.gif

You took a light painting technique and used an ipod? Very creative!
