How would I go about this? the best I came up with is:

better lighting would probably make it a lot more interesting. Just wait until sunset when the orange sun light shine on those tracks smile.gif

Try taking the picture at a different angle, instead of straight on, maybe, to see what you get.

I don't think this would work, seeing as at sunset the sun is lower than the horizon making the light not shine on the tracks.
Even if it's close to the horizon houses, tree etc. will cast shadows.

Yeah, it was at sunset. I tried different angles, but none seemed to show them very well

This top down seemed to be the best.

Well if it's possible you should let the sun shine on the tracks like it did in the picture below at least the tracks are a lot more visible and you get some nice colors too smile.gif

Snow is pretty reflective. If you want to cut down on the reflections to see the actual imprint better, a polarizing filter would do that for you.

edit w/photoshop maybe u darken the tracks and brg them out better idk

Yup. You need to block the blue colors I think. Use a yellow filter. (If you can get them) tongue.gif

I know it is a funny idea, but try to find some yellow plastic or use the yellow glas from snowglasses.
