Hey there, I would like some help with a photography assignment.

All I need to do is do a research project about a famous photographer, and take pictures just like his/her photographs.

Anyone know any professional, famous photographers with easy-to-replicate pictures? (would prefer a photographer who is strong in the area of taking pictures of abstract objects rather than people)

Thanks!

But that's doing exactly what somebody else has done...stealing their idea. (Also not very creative)
I'm not going to help to steal another Photographers ideas.

We're supposed to steal another Photographer's ideas. How many times do I have to say that? If I don't take pictures similar to the famous photgrapher's pictures, then I'll get a low grade...

Stealing is illegal though.

And I believe you trying anything someone else has done in photography would be stealing their idea (portraits, landscapes, blah blah blah)... /sarcasm

way to go black you stole lomography from Lomographische AG as well as your little "camera tossing" from some other guy. tongue.gif

My teacher also had us try to reproduce a photo. Its one of the best ways to learn technique such as lighting and twist it into your own creation down the road.

Mega, one of the easiest professional photographers you could reproduce to some degree would be the "grandfather" of photography, Ansel Adams (hope you have mountain ranges around you tongue.gif)

Copying a style of photography is not stealing....

If a photographer took a picture of a landscape, then i went and stood in the same spot and took a similar picture it wouldnt be stealing, because its my own work.

It's ok to look at other people's work and get inspired. People do that everytime and everyday (in music, art, photography etc...).

Ansel Adams is not easy to replicate XD

If I think of some good abtract/sill life photog I'll update.
