So I bought my mom some flowers for her 50th birthday, I took a picture of them...but it doesn't seem right to me. This is honestly my 5th picture that I've ever taken...so try to be constructive?

use a wider aperture so the background would be more blurred and less distracting other it's a quite good and sharp picture

Ha, thanks - yeah the color is the part I like...I'm not sure how to handle the background. I started to blur it, but then changed my mind and ended up with a half ass blur in most areas...
What do you guys think...blurred, left alone, or sharpened background?

Yep thats what it is too much going on in the backround, do what Futurama says or put them in front of a simpler backround
nice colours, though

Actually, I think this is really good.
You did a perfect job editing and making the dreamy glow effect!!
Only thing I would have done would have been not to center the flowers, get a bit closer and change the
perspective to eliminate distracting background objects.

indeed the background should be a lot more simple... and fix the towel, it would look better if it was symmetric... but the colours are rly cool

This must be a girls thing. xD
Arh, no. I know what you mean. I have the same perfectionistic way of doing things.
