I was really bored earlier so I was crazy enough to decide to go outside to take some picture of the downtown area even though it's probably below -30 with windchill outside tonight.

#2 I was actually standing in the middle of the street when I took this one If I all of the sudden stopped getting online and post in this forum then you guys will know that I had been hit by a car - lol


#3 That casino is huge and I would like to walk inside one day and see what it looks like since I have never been inside a real casino before but I really doubt that they would allow me to take any pictures.

Downtown here in Calgary is definitely no-no for a 15 year old LOL.

Top crime city in Canada with the most gang related violence.

You pretty much am hearing about somebody being hurt or killed within the Downtown core in my area at least once or twice a week.
Actually, I remember a political comic that was in the newspaper here last week.

It was like this...
A guy was driving in his car, talking to his wife

"Lets not go to the movies tonight, we could get shot.." (Referring to a man shot outside of a theater)
"We should go to a restaurant..."
"Wait, never mind we could get shot there" (referring to an innocent man killed while being in the middle of gangs shooting at each other at a restaurant)
"Let's just rent a movie then..."
"Oh wait, we could get shot in the parking lot...."
"Oh hell, let's just get home...."



I think the last picture would be a bit more interesting if you used a longer shutter speed which would give the car a longer light trail (In the first post)

#8 This one got a lil bit blurry probably because I didn't hold my camera steady and I used a very slow shutterspeed so I had to cheat and sharpened it in PS and yes I know that I need a tripod but there is NO way that I would bring a tripod with me when its -30 outside

#10 haha This is my first attempt to take some night portraits. I just happen to know this guy and bumped into him when I was on my way home. He insisted that I should take some pictures of him and put them on the Facebook so I thought why not course I've always wanted to take pictures of people on the streets lol. He was acting funny probably because he thought that he is a gangsta or something

Well it doesn't matter if you are 15 or not if someone wants to rob you they would do it. Of course if you are a big guy those low life jerks would think twice before trying and in my case I am not really a big guy even though I am quite tall. You know everything you do can be dangerous and I am sure a lot a lot more people die in car accident here in Canada than in homicide and you don't see people stop driving cars because of that . Though I do admit that I would definitely avoid certain areas of this city after dark like the neighborhood around the football stadium but I think the downtown area isn't really that bad on a weekday night when its -30 outside



haha well he probably has a quite colorful personality as well since he keeps bragging about this and that and how many "bitches" he has lmao. Kinda stupid but funny though.

Well I know him and he's really harmless but annoying though because he says a lot of things that aren't true or exaggerated. It's like he is in desperate need of attention or something.
I've found that there are a lot of people here who are like that. I wonder why.



Thanks man! Glad you like my night photos. Well first of all I am a nightowl lol and the lighting during the night is soooo different and some places that don't really look like worth taking pictures of during the day suddenly become attractive during the night - lol.
