first:
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi 400D 10.1 Megapixel DSLR
Includes Battery Grip, 2 Batteries, 50mm Lens, 2GB Card
for about 400-450 bucks
or a
Canon EOS Digital Rebel 6.3 MP 28-90mm/xtra flash/bag+
for about 200-250
Can understand that one is newer than the other. Just wondering how big of a difference there is between the 2.
I believe the difference is quite huge. Correct me if I am wrong but Digital Rebel is the very first of the Rebel series and it's probably over 5 years old while XTI is whole a lot newer with better autofocus, much better CMOS sensor with dust reduction system, better ISO performance etc etc. So if I were you I'd rather spend those extra 200 dollars to get Rebel XTI. It's really an amazing camera.
