Hey guys.

I bougth the 55-250mm Is for Canon.
Well. When I shoot, the lens is making some noise. It is not when it is AF, but when the shutter is open. It sounds like motors spinning.

Has it done this when you first bought it? Are the pictures turning out okay?

i bet its the IS thats making the noise, nothing to worry about

Hmm. But my 18-55m also has IS. But it does not sound like that. :S

some lenses is makes bigger sound than others, i had the 55-250 and its is made quite lots of noise

theres nothing wrong with the lens. iv seen dozens of people asking the same thing on internet, everyone ansvered them that theres nothing wrong with the lens. its perfectly normal that the lens makes that sound

Bigger lens = bigger IS and USM.
Bigger can sometimes be louder.

Yeah It makes sense.
But I still think it was to loud to be normal.
