I was surprised on how sharp they turned out and the very distinct starburst effect from the street lights. I think I used ISO 1600, 1/5 second shutterspeed and pretty narrow aperture to achieve the bright image and the star bursts. As always any kind of constructive criticism is welcome

Cool pictures indeed. For some reason my browser makes them blurrier than usual. I have to right click > view picture to actually see the picture alone, it's like my browser stretched the photos.

hmm which browser are you using? It sounds weird that a browser would do that, maybe you are using a large 20+ inch monitor with very high resolution or something??

ok I don't really understand your post here. 1/5 second shutterspeed is extremely long I don't think I would be able to take any sharp photos at that speed without an IS lens and the only reason I used such long shutterspeed is because I want the images to get really bright without have to use the highest ISO.
and I don't know what dpp is and what the built-in feature you were talking about

Yeah, I think my resolution is off. But if I switch it to recommended settings, it's too small. I can't see small font when I'm sitting farther away.

dpp is canon's sofware. and if you go into your custom function menu you can set the camera to remove the noise of its shots. The 450D takes loads of the chroma noise away, you should try it. If you dont have a fast card ur screen may go blank for a while after u take the pic. i think there are 2 settings a long exp. setting and a high iso setting.

e/ yeah ur right you should always just ignore the spammers and report them. replying to them encourages them to spam more.
