I went out for a walk yesterday morning and again after I got off work and took these photos. I just wish the temperature was higher because I only managed to stay outside for like ten minutes before I was forced to get inside the local shopping mall to warm my hands lol.

You finally got a camera? Nice smile.gif

And, if you think that's cold you should see here:
We have about 40-50cm of snow just piled up on the ground.
The sides of streets have at least a meter of snow from being plowed to the sides.
About-30 Celsius to -44 Celsius depending on the day, it's COLD.

AND, This is the first winter in 8 years we have ever gotten this much snow. And the first winter in 8 years we've a lot of snow in January.
The real snowfall doesn't usually begin here until late January and Early Feb. It's crazy!

lol Well I guess I have been waiting long enough to get a camera again. The past two months have been quite boring with me doing nothing but working or just staying home. Anyway lol it's not that I am complaining about the cold weather here even though I do hate the fact that I couldn't stay outside long enough to walk around the city and take lots of pictures. I have experienced this cold weather here in Canada before and I have actually got used to it, but 50 cm of snow sounds quite extreme lol I think there's only like 10cm or less of snow on the ground here in Regina.

More pics taken earlier when I went to buy some breakfast biggrin.gif

Glad you like them. The lens I used is the only lens I currently possess which came with the first 40D I had, EF-s 17-85 IS USM, it's not as sharp as those L lenses but much much better than the kit lens that come with EOS 400D/450D. I haven't done much post processing on those pictures, only changed contrast on a couple of them.
