I went out in the city for a shoot today, and I brought with me a Nikon FG, and a Nikkormat, both of which are old 35mm cameras.
I'll post some photos when I get around to developing them.
Post your shots!

BTW, is it normal to feel so awkward when taking shots in a public place? Everyone is always staring and watching me as I take photos.
Meh. I guess I'll just have to get used to it.

I got a film camera, but i dont use it much and got no pics to show taken with it. Mate has this old russian machine that i could use to make b&w prints with, iv been thinking of getting some sepia toned paper and b&w film and shooting bit more with the film camera. problem with it is that i cant see if the camera focuses totally right since there is no diopetric adjustment on it..

Atleast i feel very awkward when taking pics in puplic, especially if im not drunk and with some friends

nah im fine with taking photos in public, its just a shame when people look at you, there isnt a natural feeling of the shot. i think the best shots are when people are acting normal because their mood somewhat changes when they see someone with a camera.

i dont think you should feel awkward, most people will appreciate a photographer and sometimes will let you push through to get a shot at an event. or just say you are working for your local press and they will often let you through! smile.gif

lol I have done that so many times and yes some times I had idiots laughing at me or pointing at me and once or twice I even had a few drunk idiots approaching me and tried to talk to me lol I just say couple of words to them walked away.

About film cameras. I would LOVE to own one especially those film EOS cameras course then I would be able to use my Canon lenses too biggrin.gif
hmm I have heard that films and getting them developed would cost quite a bit if you use the camera a lot and of course I would have to buy a good scanner too.

Afraid of taking photos in the public or of film cameras tongue.gif
well heh why would a grown up man like you be afraid of taking photos when there are people around you? tongue.gif lol I have even laid down on the ground to take a few pics when people walking by me and looked at me in a weird way lmao. I think as long as you like to do what you are doing you shouldn't care about what others think tongue.gif just be yourself and enjoy taking pictures.

It has nothing to do with what I am doing. I am afraid of taking photos of people. I think it is odd to do. xD

e/ I have been standing on benches, trashcans and so on! I am 194cm, so Mr. Tall here is getting all the attention he wants. biggrin.gif
