its a good idea, but it seems kinda close.

What type of lens did you use?

ah another imageshack photo. so what camera did you use?

Maybe if you knew how to use the Macro function it might look better.

i actually dont know what that does ^^, will i get better images using p mode, semi-auto or macro mode?

Macro mode allows the lens to focus closer to a subject, this in turn provides much more detail to small subjects like eyes.

P (program) mode is a mode which automatically sets the shutter speed and F stop for you, while you control everything else. This is used for if you are walking around
downtown and you turn the corner and you have literally a few second to get the shot.

Not sure what "Semi-Auto" is. But, if it has the word "Auto" in it, it can't be good.

Tv and Av modes are semi auto

(you control either a or t and the camera sets the other half)


So i will actually get a better picture using the macro mode?

Only for close-up subjects though.
Don't try using Macro for a landscape unless you want the entire photo out of focus lol!

TV and AV are either for allowed longer shutter speed (I use them for lightning photographs as it keeps the shutter open longer or shorter)
