The tripod and lighting aren't the real problem, the composition is, but that's bound to happen if you try to take photos of yourself when you can't see what you're aiming at.
Once you've got the composition sorted, then you can't start worrying about lighting.
Well... I may not be a photo genius nor an experienced photographer but I find the composition to be pleasing to my eyes at the least. I don't have a studio to shoot myself infront of specific backgrounds so the background is really whatever happens to be there. As far as angles go I like them aswell :3 Eh, yeah. Thanks for the feedback though

maybe deliberatly knock the focus off, i think it creates a really nice shot.
