I have a problem. I use vista (Some of you now saying that is the problem ^^)
When I open a picture in the picture viewer, the warm red colors are more purple than red. If I use GIMP or even paint the colors are correct.
Do you know anything to do about it?

nah, all you can do it adjust your monitor settings, or ur graphics settings.

but just open the pictures in digital photo professional to view them, you dont really need to view the perfect colours when ur just having a glance through in windows viewer. that's really all it is, just having a quick look at ur pics. I just open them in dpp or ps if i wanna real good look at them.

i have the exact same thing.

its some default on the picture viewer that is quite annoying

I think it would be something to do with the color settings of the monitor or graphics card.
What -bit are you using to display your monitor with?
