Is there any photo camera that gives a nice and clear image in that range?

If so, please, tell me the model.

If not, the money i should spend on one.

Thanks A LOT.

its over your budget, but it will be incredibly hard to find a DSLR brand new with $300

my friend has the sony and she likes it, most of the reviews people have said its a bargin for that money

lens is the thing that gives the clear image, not the camera body. Ur budget is so low that i dont think you can get eny dslr with the price, or maybe u might get the cheapest nikon thats missing auto focus on some of the lenses. I would recommend canon 400d(or xti if you live in america(same camera)), those cheap nikons are desent cameras allso, but like i mentioned they are lacking auto focus on some of the lenses(more expencive nikons have af system in the body), allso canon has better lens lineup. You can get desent old manual lenses for nikon for really cheap price, but as far as i know you cant even see the light meter with them, so i wouldnt recommend that to enyone who cant handle cameras really good or want to buy/carry a light meter with you.

to get the nikon or canon u'd have to stretch ur budget mate, unless your looking at a heavily used one

yeah but its a very cheap e-lvl camera.

what i dont understand about sony is why they put iso 3200 in the a200 and even the a350

the sony a200 makes unusable photos at iso 800

and the a350 bearly manages iso 800

but the canon 450D has next to no noise at iso 800 and a little at 1600, none of which is chroma

If u have a low budget, go for canon. I wouldn't recommend anything from nikon unless its @ the d90 level.

As for sony.. avoid at all costs. They're new into SLRs and have lots of kinks to smooth out.
