hi there, i have seen a few pics up here recently that are HDR/HDRi
i won't get my first SLR til back end of January
and i would just like someone to clear up a few things

may sound a bit noobish i guess but anyway:

how do you do a HDR image and what exactly is it?

can someone explain RAW? and what are its advantages over shooting in another format?

You can also search up a program called "Photomatix"... i find it's simpler to use than the built-in HDR maker of photoshop.

RAW files contain a lot more info than JPEGs. It simply gives a greater photoediting/enhancing edge over JPEG Images. I guess it wouldn't matter to the average joe, but... I dunno. better more than less, right?
