This is the university studio. Comes with 3 strobes, 1 that's broken, 1 that's missing a modelling light and a cable that misfires 50% of the time.

Previous shots were shot using CLS (Nikon's Creative Light System) using standard flashes (I believe 2 SB-800s)

They weren't mine though haha.

No, just part of a photography club.

Im graduated now... in engineering. I'm actually sitting in my cubicle being very efficient right now lol.

Those studio lights aren't mine. I just have access to use it lol.

(ok fine, the lenses cost a fortune... but I am pretty much rock bottom poor right now)

You are kidding, right? You have never taken any kind of coarse or whatsoever in photography? ohmy.gif

hmm so why did you choose D300? Wouldn't the fullframe D700 be better for portraits and landscape?
well I know absolutely nothing about Nikon lenses but I am sure they are not cheaper than those made by Canon dry.gif

lol I am poor too well I have money but I can't cash my paycheck haha I have like 1400! dollars that I can't access because I don't have a stupid Canadian ID

Because at the time of purchase, the d700 didn't exist.

Besides, it's over my budget haha.

But yeah, the d300 is definitely "less good" than it's full frame compatriote but I don't think i'll upgrade anytime soon. Besides, I kinda like the 1.5x crop factor.

Annd not kidding sleep.gif' just lots of tries, errors, good friends that gave good tips and readings.

I recommend subscribing to photography various newsletters!
