Shot taken @ 1/1500th of shutter,

3 flashes, two off camera flashes (red/yellow gels), one directional fill light.

Taken with an 18-55 /2.8 d300

I think the way her hair is "waving" or whatever it's called made the whole picture a lot more dramatic and interesting.
BTW was it taken in a studio or was the background added in photoshop?

Shot in a studio.
The background was black and lit by two strobes with color gels on.

The hair "waving" was just a random toss of her hair.

to me the hair is what gives the shot character!

again very very good

if i had to fault it, id say the right arm is slightly over-exposed (if that is the correct saying)
and the left side of the face and the hair has no definite boundary, which im not saying is a bad thing, i would just prefer a little illumination there.
