1 off camera Sb-800

nikon d300
70-200 f2.8

Minimal Photoshop (color tones, contrast, vibrance)
Smoke was not photoshopped in.






Same thematic.
Nikon D300
4 composite shots

1 off camera sb-800 on the right of the image used to freeze the action.

Composite shots were:
- Person shovelling snow
- shadow 1
- Shadow 2
- Wall

They both look great but I think #2 is more like a piece of graphic art because of the extensive use of photoshop to create those nice looking shadows but still it's a fine piece of art.
The first one looks really dramatic and cooold lol kinda reminds me of the cold winter in Canada :S and I think the girl in the pic should be shivering and shaking rather than smiling lol jk

It's nice to see more and more photographers finding their way to this normally quiet part of d2jsp forum smile.gif

Nice pictures! I like #1 more though. Not a fan of using photoshop that much. Looks good anyways

I just consider it photomanipulation. Its 4 shots put together, but if u want just look @ the right side if it makes u happier haha.

haha.
It is shot in montreal, canada, outdoors... the steam from the smoke was what kept her warm (thank god). Shoot lasted 30 minutes and I was colder than she was.
