well, there's a story behind this, so i'll get to camera, i bought a Kodak easy share v1003 about 6 months ago, chose no extended warranty or anything, and the thing just stopped working 1 day after warranty expired. so last nite i bought a Sanyo VPC-T1060. has a lot more features, and got pretty high ratings. what do you guys think, it's for my g/f, she's into photography a lot. and it's a christmas present for her.

Ow :C That sucks. Same thing happened to my old 5mp coolpix, it broke about a year ago only less than 2 weeks after the garuntee ran out :/ I swear they rig those things ... Anyways, can't help you on this one happy.gif Check dpreview maybe? ^^

I personally wouldn't buy camera products from Sanyo.
BUT, this camera does look like it might be pretty good. 10MP is pretty nice, and the nice compact size might be good for traveling.

It all depends on what your GF is into taking pictures of really.

(I personally would use this camera for going out to parties, taking pictures of friends, etc.)
