I took a few photos of fireworks earlier this year when they had some kind of a festival in Stockholm, Sweden.
Most of them were taken handheld so they aren't that great and it was the very first time I tried to take pics of fireworks smile.gif
I am sure they would have looked whole a lot more spectacular if I used a tripod.

As always any kind of criticism is welcome.

Thanks! Glad you like them.
I guess I was lucky and it was mostly my camera and IS lens (which allowed me to use a lot slower shutterspeed) who did most of the work because I was still very new to DSLR back then.
I have read that you should have a shutterspeed of like one or two seconds if you want to create some really nice effects because those large fireworks can actually last several seconds so I think #6 would have been a real eye candy if I used a tripod or could hold a camera absolutely still for at least one second with my bare hands. lol

Lol, wow they are pretty noisy.
But I guess they are pretty good for somebody who didn't even know what ISO was back then tongue.gif

hmm so you have a point and shoot camera? course I think most newer DSLRs can take photos like this with some of them requiring a tripod.

lol I hope me and mr blackrose arent the only people on here who have taken photos of fireworks in the past tongue.gif
