Ok, so I am looking for some of the "must get" programs for photographers!!
Anybody got any suggestions??

I have Photoshop, and Lightroom.
What else is there?

Well. You find our own skyle.
Personaly I have GIMP and Picasa right now.

I just stick with photoshop, 'tis all I need.

I use just photoshop and canon digital photo professional

I use Olympus Studio (for tethered shooting), Lightroom (mainly), Photoshop (occasionally), Panorama Factory (as applicable), Photomatix (for HDR) and every rare once and a while I will use Portrait Professional.

My typical workflow consists of RAW -> Lightroom -> jpeg for web or TIF for other processing such as in PS or print

if you havnt got Microsoft paint, you should.

Its a neat little program which allows you to paint images or even resize an image, as your own discretion

hmm is that the software that you got when you bought your camera?
lol I think the 40D I bought came with like 3 or 4 cds or dvds but I never checked any of them

I guess for now I'll just stick to Photoshop and if there are tools that it doesn't have I'll just find and download some plug-ins
