take 2 or more pics from exact same spot with different exposures(or one raw and change exposure differently), make them on different layers and erase the overexoposed part of other pic(sky for example). If your camera can shoot fast enough u might be able to shoot those different exposures with bracketting without using a tripod.

well the only program I can think of is photoshop
the tutorial I provided in the link above is about making hdri in photoshop CS2

I want to keep it legal!
