Yep, god damn bus went early(again), so i missed it and had to walk home from work. Got few pics, so wasnt that bad, even tho it was -1 celsius.

lol how often do the buses go between your work and home? it almost sounds like a small town where I used to live. There are like 3 routes that go to three other nearby cities and if you miss one you would have to wait between an hour to up to 9 hours for the next one since there are only like five or six scheduled trips during a regular work day and NONE during the weekends or holidays

btw what are those colorful dots in #2?

well i get off from work 23:00 and my work is in vantaa and i live in helsinki(close to vantaa), so busses dont go from town to others that often so late, i think i would have had to wait for next bus for 45 minutes and i can walk home in 25.

Those dots are aliens attacking! Nah really just reflections from protective filter or lens of those

lol thats not far at all. hmm it almost sounds like Vantaa is just a suburb of Helsinki. I mean if I would probably have to walk like many hours to get to another city from Stockholm.

hmm so is it dirt on the filter or something? course I am pretty sure normally filters dont leave those kind of dots

Well there are helsinki, vantaa, espoo and kauniainen in capital area all next to each other. What comes to suburbs, helsinki is like 95% of that. Those dots show so good because its really dark on other areas than those really bright ones, so i had to use 3200 iso, f-1.8 and 1/3 sec shutterspeed, that makes them show so good.

holy! that sure was extreme darkness. well at least you have a lens that has very wide aperture ^^ think the highest light sensitivity setting I used on 40D was ISO 3200, f/4.0 (widest I can get on my stupid lens) hmm which camera did you use? ISO 3200 on eos 40D creates just too much noise so I usually avoided it

so I guess I am not the only one who like to shoot hand held night photos with eos 40D
