OMG!
I made a homemade flash diffuser. It's an old white film holder. (those cylindrical white things with a lid)
I cut a hole and put my pop-up lens in it.
I forgot I had it on a 30 second shutter speed from last night.

I took the shot, the flash, flashed and the screen went black for 30 seconds.
During those 30 seconds, I shit myself.
I though the camera was blowing up or something so I opened the battery case and re-started the camera.
Then I realized...I went black for a 30 second shot HAHA!

I was so relieved to find out that for some odd reason, I though my camera died

lmao think I have done something like that too in the past
its kinda annoying when you forgot to change the settings and ruin your pics

lol - had that happen before. All I do so I don't have to wait 30 seconds (because I want the picture NOW) is turn off the camera, then turn it back on. It's probably not healthy for the camera, but I don't do it often - haha.

hahaha maybe thats why the shutter on your camera broke
but I would probably have done the same since I am just as impatient when it comes to taking pics ^^

I don't think thats why my shutter broke. It still saved the picture on my memory card when I took the picture. And besides, it was defective since day 1.

you mean the picture you took when you turned the camera off before it could be taken? lmao what does it look like? all black?
