The first one is my favourite, but I don't like the sky. lol I love editing washed out skies... so here are some edits I did, just for fun, using some of the pictures I've taken of the skies.

This one I found was a little choppy/weird/unnatural? after I edited it, haha you can get some pretty wicked skies behind this one..

lol yeah the sky kinda looks boring. that photo would have been perfect if the sky was full of red clouds lol
well I like the idea of changing the sky though lol yours look great even though the first one doesnt look very natural as you said but I think its because its a bit too dark
the second one looks better though ^^ well lol just feel free editing my photos if you want. I am going to upload the rest of the pics I took yesterday soon lmao
oh and thanks for the idea smile.gif

The second one is really nice I like itt smile.gifsmile.gif
But the 3rd doesn't make much sense since the sun is in the clouds behind the houses, but its shining on the front lol.

ok I have finally decided to get a lens hood because I've heard some good things about them and because of this:

does anyone know if a lens hood would have reduce lens flare and get more colorful picture in that kind of situation?

the third pic may doesnt make sense but it looks very beautiful tongue.gif I really love the very dramatic sky smile.gif

anyway I got the lens hood earlier this afternoon ^^ and this is the result with it attached

I gotta say 50 bucks for a piece of plastic thing is quite a lot but the quality improvement is very clear in this shot

and more pics from yesterday:
