Got this big baby only for 350 euros, so had to buy it tongue.gif . Iv been looking for a cheap mark I for some time for winter/rainy usage, its just too bad that iso handling isnt as good as in my 40d(would need that in those situations), but couldnt shoot with 40d in heavy rain or when its snowing at all. Ill just need to get plastic tube from work to cover the lens. I love some of the features on this camera, like that it shows how strong the flash will be, but using this camera is hella hard and slow compared to 40d.

lol at idiot kid mods who think shit is too bad word to be used at jsp

hmm nice big camera lol
btw why would you want to take pics in rain? I did it a few days ago only because I actually traveled a great distance to some place and caught in rain while shooting and it wasn't really fun and pics turned out quite boring so I had to go back the next day when the weather got better tongue.gif

lol kinda funny that they actually closed your topic just because of the word sh*t ^^

Rain can add pretty cool effect to picture too and it can happen that i want to shoot something and it happens to rain, happened few times and i didnt want to get my camera wet. But mostly i was thinking about the winter time. Allso 1.3x crop factor is good enough reason to get it for that price, now my 28mm lens is a wide angle and 85mm even better portrait lens that it was before

In usa u got much lower taxes, so it should be sold about 350-400. But if u change 350 euros to dollars its around 500-550$

the "multiple-button-hold-to-change-setting-thingy" is really a pain in the ass, that's why I opted for the 1D mark3 instead of the 1Ds mark2 even though the 1Ds suits my style more.
Taking pics in the rain is awesome fun, that's why I bought a 1 series in the first place.

Nice catch on the cam BTW.
