My dad just bought me a f4.5 90-230mm vivitar tele zoom lens, but he doesnt know much about lens- body compatibility. It doesn't fit on my pentax zx-60 body, is there any way I can get some kind of 'adaptor' to change the locking mechanism on the lens to fit my pentax?

hmm what kind of mount is your lens for? I know Canon uses EF and EF-S mount for their DSLRs not sure about Pentax though
well I dont think you can just buy an adapter for that I think what you should do is return the lens and get one with the right mount

well you have to know that if there is such adapter people would be able to use Canon lenses on Pentax or Nikon. it would be nice though lol

I'm not sure if this is possible. Most camera's work with different types of 'fittings' like EF and EF-S, so that is about the most important thing to look at when you want to buy a lense.
