Nope! The 5DII only comes kitted with the 24-105L lens. Haha, that is one superb lens too.

But when it boils down to having a 28-135 mounted to a 5DII vs a 24-70 on a T2i. I would take the T2i over the other combo anyday

Why? You're getting something worth 3k vs 2.5k

there are 5d mkII + 24-70 2.8 kits also

What lens would you guys recommend for portraits? I plan to do some senior portraits over the summer and spring and all I currently have is a 50 1.8.

Budget?
You prefer prime or zooms?

85 1.2L, or 100 2.8L IS Macro. No joke. I'm in love with the macro lens for portraits but you can't beat the bokeh of the 85 1.2L. I'd say go both, since you don't need to concern yourself with bokeh quality in studio portraits.

Around $1500. It really does not matter, however I've been thinking just to go with the 70-200 2.8 II from Sigma or possibly the OS version..

How is the 135L for portraits?



The 85 1.2 seems pointless for me, it's 2k and extremely close to the only other lens I have.
