Just wanted to say hi to everyone, this is my first time posting in the photography section.
Been gone from jsp for quite a long time since not playing d2, and stumbled upon this very awesome photography section a while ago.
Kind of started photography as a hobby last year, so there are many things I want to learn! Please give me your guidance guys! =D

Seems like some drama has been going on, but I figure I'lll comment on the pictures anyways.
I particularly like the bird and the kayaking pictures. I'd give the bird an 8/10, really loving the colors here by the way. As for the kayaking picture,
I really like how the water looks, but I think the subjects expression is unfortunately taking away from the picture for me. A 7/10.

For the other photos, they don't really stand out to me. Either the exposures and colours aren't to my liking, or the subject/composition seems a tad boring. (The b/w one in particular,
the bike in the other is also detracting from the picture for me.)

Anyways, here's my photo:

the only drama is these kids thinking they are gods gift to photography and therefore unseuccesfully attempting to trolll me. I like ur photo. im going to give it only a 6 out of 10 becuase i think including the foreground stuff was a mistake and the image would be stronger without it. could u not have gone close to the railing?

yeah i also thought the foreground was kind of distracting as well after i saw the image when i got home,
but it was a family trip, and i unfortunately won't get a chance to go back to that location to take another shot anytime soon.

yep, its not really fixable via cropping but if u had been able to move ur tripod down by that barrel thing, i think the shot could have been much better.

maybe moved a little to the right as well. the light in the foreground there is also taking away from the reflection which inturn away from the contrast of the boats against the dark nightsky. Yah, it's unfortunate when the same opportunity doesn't arise and take the perfect shot but its always a work in progress heh. Otherwise i'm absolutely loving this photo. Must had been a nice vacation. 7/10

My turn to post, unfortunately for me, my subject had the attention span of a pea so i could only get a few shots in. I'm also new to photography and finding the ropes bit by bit. Feel free to say what is necessary to be said though aha.

yup, and usually if you consider it absolute crap you might give some insight into what could better it.
But an un-bias opinion is better than all. hah.

Harsh lighting. Can't see the eyes, eyes are important! Snapshotish angle, get down low and shoot from the dog's perspective. Background is not interesting and somewhat distracting tbh.
