Same thing happens to me, and I really rely on this forum alot.
It's hard to get good criticism on your photos from people who don't take photos, thus I use this forum.
I normally see which photos people like the best then I print it out and frame it to go on my wall. Pretty much just a reminder of the shoot and what I have accomplished, but without the reviews I havent been able to do it.
Hopefully we can become more active again. I know that I try to comment on everyone's photos.

I also like to try to comment on each thread, but sometimes when I really don't like the pictures, even if they are technically good, I'd rather not say anything...
But most of my posts are kinda lame...
I'm just saying that it's nice or beautiful, very rarely can I post something really constructive that will help the thread maker, cause you guys are usually all better than me

But please keep posting guys and girls, you are the inspiration of the new photographers (like me!!)

Haha that is because you didn't see my first pictures I was posting lol!!!
I learned a LOT here in this forum, more than I have ever learned in my whole life taking pictures!!!
Seriously!!!
Anyone here can testify how much I have improved, and I owe it all to the people in this forum :love:

I totally agree with you chantal! haha. It's fun to mix the two together

It makes it feel like we all know eachother better that way I think... About the topic thing, I have to agree with you and Spencer as well... it does feel quite dead. I personally enjoy photographs with stories or related texts much more than empty photography. It's a nice way to fill in the blanks so to say.

It's not just the commenting for me...

The thing is, I'm feeling all the comments are becoming the same.
I feel I'm not learning anything, just being told stuff I already know. Which isn't helping me improve.

Not that I'm saying you aren't all "pros" it's just, I feel like to move on with my own personal goals in photography and get into NAIT I need
to continue and move up to something bigger, with more "professional" help, as in from professional photographers, who have been shooting for years and years, and that know
all the secrets and best spots.

I'll keep posting, but I just feel like I keep getting the same responses, if I get any at all. (My recent was like 28 views 0 comments.
