Did you use exposure blending at this one? btw it is also in my opinion the best shot in this topic.

if you compare the foreground to those two big trees and the forest in the background and look at the angle of the sun, you can notice them being different exposures. anyways its a really good shot

yea guys just so u know my editing on it.

I shot the scene once raw, then once i got home i edited the raw file twice, once for the sky and once for the foreground, then i used a layer mask to create the effect of a split ND filter. normally i would just shoot it with a split ND but when im backpacking/working in the wilderness i take the lightest camera kit possible. in this case i had a gorilla pod, d70, 18-70, and 2 batteries.

I'm sure it looks much better in a larger format, but when it's that small the stars and the noise are very nasty looking, and not in a good way.

However, lovely shot. 7/10

Originally a square format.

I prefer it larger and wider.

new photoshop raw(it wasnt on the older version afaik) has nice thing called adjustment brush. you can brush areas to get different exposure/toning/contrast/etc without having to edit raw file twice and combine them in photoshop. it also has graduation tool that works the same way.
