i like the idea, expression on her face is almost good, toning and sharpness is ok.
maybe your wife should wear smth different to do those dirty things

Lovely exposure, although I learned from mr. Ansel Adams the rule of thirds applies to horizon/skylines in order to avoid boringness. 4/10, I prefer some of your other work.

i don't have any cool photos to add, but i have to comment on this one.

it's a cool shot, the only unfortunate part is the tremendous amount of negative space on the left. if it was cropped a bit further over the composition would be stronger and the shapes would fall into place easier.

I don't agree with you. rule of 3rds isn't universal in portraiture, and less negative space would destroy the photo's whole intention (which is 100% candid).

i might go with a slight contrast increase (not sure if ur hitting full black it looks a little washed out.

also crop out the left so her as close to the earring as possible. its distracting and to much negative space on the lef tlike previosu;ly stated.

ignore the artifacts i just changed the black point with curves. could be done better. all your "black" data was about 20/20/20 before.

what i said came out wrong, i meant to say i think the right (if it isn't too bright) would be nice to even out the composition a bit, i wouldn't want to crop any more from the left.

thanks man i have been practicing my craft for a while now. The picture means alot to me, it was taken from a very sorta of magic place deep in the wilderness of the cascade mountains.

Did you use exposure blending at this one? btw it is also in my opinion the best shot in this topic.
