only way i "think" you could do it with PS would be by opening file, looking for the xxxxx.nef version then editing and then saving as .tiff or whatever
but that aint what u are looking for is it?
did u not get software with your canon? the nikons certainly come with the software to do it

maybe its time to upgrade to nikon ;)

I did and still fail to do it....

Is there anyway I could do it with PS?

My guess is that you connect your camera to the computer.
That means the camera tells your computer what is on the memory card. And maybe it excludes everything except .jpg files?

Do you have any possibility to insert your memory card directly into the computer? This way your computer reads the data, and then you will notice if there are any raw files!

Usb card readers are not that expensive if you'd need one. I'm pretty sure this is the problem actually! I've seen many persons on other forums having this issue :)

You'd have to have a Hasselblad 500cm around your neck at the same time, so every now and again, between the machine gun fire, you can shoot a bazooka.

My apologies...

When I transfer my photos, they transfer the jpeg + the raw file automatically, and it all goes into a folder with a date, under my pictures. So when I go to that folder I see a Jpeg + a raw file there beside the jpeg photos. Maybe there's a way to use the Canon utility software to transfer them instead of going my computer > camera > etc ? I usually just use a software that puts them all on my computer. Hope this helps!
