my pc isnt fast enough to render the huge files of my 5D mark II anymore ~~

photoshop happens to crash when I´m trying to safe an edited photograph. :(

feels like a sign to get a mac

are you sure that you arent just lacking room on your hard drive? you need more room than just the image size when saving. when i have done loads of adjustments on photoshop(i have setting where history doesent cut off at any point and saves all processes) it can take like 2-3gb room from my hard drive and sometimes i havent been able to save after since hard drive is full of history of that photo. i could imagine that happening faster if your hard drive is already full.

Anyone could tell me how to get raw image using PS CS4?
I can't seem to understand how to do it...

what do u mean?
u take the pic as raw, then edit the raw in PS and save as whatever format u want

I mean how to you get the raw...
I shoot in RAW + jpg but I have no idea how to get the RAW file....
If there is a way to get it directly from the camera using PS I'd like to know, otherwise the program that came with the camera I don't understand it....

raw files get to same folder as jpg files. if you cant find the raw files there might be some problem transferring them into your computer, i remember my friends computer didnt get the raws transferred on it for some reason. how do you transfer the files to your computer from camera/card?
