anyway i think Karagor should just decide, we have all discussed it, dont think it should go to a vote, he won the right to select it

I made this topic with the intention of making the next contest more appealing.

I did some counting, and, unless i have forgotten to add some votes, this is the result:

Architecture 6 votes (including mine and a double vote)
Landscape 1 vote (1 double vote)
Portraits 6 votes (3 double votes)
Flowers 1 vote
Season 0
Culture 4 votes (2 votes double)
Citylife 2 votes (1 vote more)

As "double vote" I means a person who used a double preference.

Personally I understand that architecture and portraits are the most successful themes.

I believe we can start with Architecture, or let go of another 1-2 days and discuss between Portraits and Architecture. I believe that other themes can be ruled out.

Ok so Architecture it is, but I'm sure whoever wins this contest wouldn't have a problem setting the next theme to Portraits. I like how you handled this theme choosing.

To me, photography is a way of capturing the beauty of what is around me, through light.
The bridges we have here (to go into Montreal cause it's an island) are dirty and ugly as hell...
Plus, around here it's winter... so even the classic picture of a blue or red door of an old house is not even attractive... to me anyways
But When I go to work I see a lot of tourists taking pictures of the architecture of Old Montreal... this has no interest for me at all..
When I take pictures, I want to be like a child watching his first fireworks and go oooooh!! and aaaaaah!!!! because what I see is so sweet to the eyes...
Everyone has different interests, even unrelated to photography..
I find a spider very beautiful, but it brings disgust to others....
Many photographers like to take nudes in an artistic way... that also has no interest for me
