i dont think he meant that.. 3 isnt nearly as good in terms of photography as 7 is, it just looks good to people who view photos like graphic designers view some graphics they do

#7 is straight from camera aside from a small brightness and contrast adjustment.

edited photos are not less meritable than non edited ones

The photo contest was more about taking the photo rather than editing it. He wanted people to do less editing for this contest, which is maybe why some people are a little odd about the edited photos.

i like the intensity of number 8.
