Change of topic....

Regarding some of the 'new people' posting in this section....
Some of you may think I'm kinda harsh on them..
But I really like the photography forum and I want to make sure it stays as clean as it's been so far...

I will be not too nice with people who come in here to get a higher post count and just spam for no reason.
They can use the General Chat for this purpose.....
Trust my warnings and verbals please, I don't do them out of the blue... I always check who I am dealing with before....
Please read between the lines, I can't be more specific....

If you notice someone who fits the description, pm me about him and I'll deal with it.
If I can't, then I'll go higher.

I love this forum and you guys/girls are the best.
You have made my photo skills improve so much and given me the 'kick in the butt' to get out and do more shooting :)
And even as a retired mod, returning the favor and helping keep this forum clean is the least I can do

I like this idea. I think if you are too nice people will just walk all over you. Keep it up ;)

I understand. :)
I already PM'ed, with an example.

Shutter creations are ruling this forum. B)

I do not know why, but I do not feel like posting photos here anymore.

I saw this topic but it was closed. :(

Hmm. Sorry to say it. But I think photography section has lost its charming personality.

Well, I am going to post photos to give it a chance. Right now I am building a super macro lens! :)

I somewhat agree with Qhotex here.
Lately I've been dealing face to face with people about my photography and my photos, and selling them and am currently planning my gallery viewing (Printing & framing today.)

I feel like getting them in words is much more meaningful to me, and the lack of commenting in this forum has made an impact.
I put quite a bit of effort into my posts, posting my photos, and the little stories behind them. But then I get 30 views and 0 comments, is quite dissapointing.
Not that I can help it.

We'll see.

It's because you're in LOVE!!!!!
I guess people (myself included) don't feel confortable in commenting about personal life...
It is, after all, the Photography Forum..
Maybe I'm wrong...

I LOVE commenting on personal life. I think people should more often I find it interesting. Not that I want to know about their personal life, but hear their opinion on it :)

Yeah, I know what you mean... I get the same thing on my topics  - but sometimes you can't expect EVERYONE that views to reply.

Agreed.
Same thing happens to me, and I really rely on this forum alot.
It's hard to get good criticism on your photos from people who don't take photos, thus I use this forum.
I normally see which photos people like the best then I print it out and frame it to go on my wall. Pretty much just a reminder of the shoot and what I have accomplished, but without the reviews I havent been able to do it.
Hopefully we can become more active again. I know that I try to comment on everyone's photos. :D
Take Care,
~Donny
