ah well it´s a fricken tough decision. I´m pretty stubborn about getting the 24-70mm 2.8 though..... dunno it just looks great to me. what about a 24-70mm + 85mm 1.8 or 100mm 2.0 + 135L combo?
I wouldn't do 100/135. I had these forever and i always want to sell one or the other just because they're so close in focal lengths.. only reason i haven't done that yet is because my 100 does macro.

i dont think so
I know there will be a difference especially indoors when you may not have the room to use a 85mm lens. But it's so close that i personally can't justify having two $400-$500 lens. Maybe a 85/1.8 and a nifty fifty.
Edit: I think i know where you're getting now, if you're shooting professionally.. it's good to have redundant gear?

i would use the zoom lens in studio instead of primes, because you wont need low f-numbers in studio, so there is no need for primes since 24-70mm is so sharp enough when stopped down. for head portraits i would use 70-200mm in studio, and outside if the lens was 2.8, but id use 85mm 1.8 outside over 70-200 if the 70-200 was f/4.
I agree with using the zoom in a studio condition stepped down. Unless you're doing special effects with low DoF.
