This isn't exactly macro but it's a close up shot...

I like the composition.

I would prefer more sharpness and a bit more of brightness.

Time to bump this thread.
I am surprised that nobody in here seem to be into macro photography especially invertebrates

That's a lame excuse :p
I have been shooting "semi"-macro with my 135L without extension tubes or extenders the whole summer :p
I know the pictures are not as great as if I had used a real macro lens but I think some are pretty good especially the bokeh.
The 100mm macro is a very sharp lens but I doubt it can create the same creamy bokeh as the 135L :p
Btw what happened to your 100L?? Did you drop it?

If you mean pause then it's the same here :D hmm what the heck is puse
I try to work as much as I can during the winter to save money to buy some nice gear for use during the summer

It's not as lame as admitting that i'm too lazy to go out and shoot macros

Also, you'd be surprised how good the 100L is as far as bokeh goes, sure it's not as extraordinary as the legendary 135L. But it's no slouch either.

I'll do a comparison one day.

Edit: check here.
