I know these types, and it is really sad!.
I know some of them in my town. The tough guys and the "slutty" girls who try to feel accepted. (I do not hope anyone are judging me now buy saying that)

And now we are pretending to be better than other by talking all of this. xD

uh lol I dont really get what you are talking about tongue.gif
well they are slutty because they act like that and I am sure deep down they don't like being called a slut or act like one either. There are just too many self righteous people out there, they may have or had a good childhood with supporting and loving parents so they expect everyone else to be like them as well. You know when I was younger I used to dislike gay people and find them immoral but when I grew up and had been through a lot stuff, like being told to go back to where I came from at school or people just distrust and dislike me because I look "foreign" all that just made me realize that to lots of people out there I am not much better than those gay people or Africans or Jews or Native American Indians or Arabs because I look different because I am not white. You know what's funny or weird about me, I don't even like my own kind because I find them annoying and boring and I dont want to have anything to do with them probably because they remind me of my own parents. well while I am at it I might as well tell you that my parents are from China and I was born there but I grew up in Sweden and went to school there so now my Swedish is practically perfect and there is no accent that would reveal that I am an immigrant and my Swedish is a lot better than Chinese but yet I have never felt accepted. I just consider myself a human being just like everyone else I want to live a peaceful life, have fun, meet new people, fall in love and so on. There's something else that I find ironic, I actually moved from Sweden to Canada because I thought people here are much better but yet I have already met a few rednecks who seemed to have an issue with my black hair and slightly darker skin. lol I guess I will never be able to hide from those narrow minded hicks and I'll just have to learn how to tolerate them. And this is my rant of the day

Haha. Maybe I should learn English. xD

I think you meet people like this all over the world. All people are prejudging, no matter how much they say they are not.
Today in this postmodernistic world, we got a mening about people without have been to their country or we have met them. The media have a big influence.

I am trying to be less prejudging. But it is hard some times. Like I think Chinese people to be geeks, with computer or Camera as hobby! smile.gif

what the hell lol well I do have photography as a hobby but that's not because I am chinese or whatever. I've heard that a lot when I was in Sweden that I walked around taking photos like those stupid Chinese or Japanese tourists and I consider it as an insult tongue.gif and I guess that's another irony of my life. I mean for the most part of my life I have been trying to be less like my parents and their kind of people but yet where ever I go people would associate me with them. I just don't get why is it so freaking hard for some people to just look past the color of my skin and the color of my hair and just consider me a fellow human being. And what's with people calling Chinese people ping pong I mean I don't even like playing ping pong and I suck at it. anyway I better go to bed now because I just got home from another 12 hour shift and kinda feeling grumpy biggrin.gif that's why all the complaining and crap because I had a customer earlier tonight who called me ping pong and that guy looked and dressed like a redneck, all hairy and shabby and was driving around in a huge truck and he was laughing at me for looking like an Asian, yeah right rolleyes.gif

Well. I consider this as a good theme, and you are not grumpy.
Haha. I never thought of ping pong. (Sorry).
I think i got the "camera thing", because of the same reason like you. Tourist!
I am 19, and I only see Asian people or old people going around with Camera.

oh hahaha so you guys have those annoying Asian tourists in Denmark as well? man they are like ants, everywhere - lol
Well pfft as you can see in this forum not all photographers are Asians or old people tongue.gif
Actually when I was walking around taking pics in Stockholm most of the Asians I saw there only had crappy point and shoot or video cameras while the European and American tourists were carrying around DSLRs biggrin.gif I guess its probably because those Asians are just too cheap to get a nice camera

Yeah. Asians love H.C.Andersen and "The little Mermaide".
Haha. I see them with both DSLR and P&S Cameras.
Sorry, but I like to laugh at them, because they are fanatics. Just they way they act when they see a traditional Danish thing. Shoot shoot shoot.. Lala laa.
But the other way around. I was in London some time ago, and I think that they think the same about us. Because I did the same things at the Asians when they come here.

well all tourists are like that. In Sweden they make fun of German tourists because they are pretty much like those Asians, they seem to be obsessed with anything Swedish, from moose crap (yes they actually buy moose shit) to meatballs biggrin.gif
you know I was acting in a dumb tourist when I was in Shanghai, China a few years ago, took a bunch of photos of everything I found interesting and amusing
