Hello everyone. I read the rules and I saw that I am "not able to vote" (because I do not post here regularly) ... But I figured I'd give it a go anyway. So, toss my vote out or not its up to the judge... I have been tracking this forum since it opened even debated about entering but decided not to (maybe next time?) Ok, now on to what I think...
First off I'd like to say I am in no way an art interpreter so if you were trying to express something that I don't see, sorry. To me the average Joe, the first thing I looked for was the theme of the pictures. As some of you said not all of them followed it to the T, but what can you do.. Right? I will only comment on my pick of the winner which IMO would be picture #3. There are a few reasons why I chose this picture over the rest. I think they really captured the ENVIRONMENT part of the picture. I mean when your a kid what is your environment? It's your driveway! I also love the way you thought outside the box and made it into a strip instead of just a single photo (kudos to you.) Another thing I loved about it was that it did not seem like it was a posed picture. You captured the child doing what they do best, being themselves. And lastly I love how you have different angles in each strip.
Everyone had nice photos, and I enjoyed viewing them all. Hope you enjoyed my two cents. And best of luck to everyone. I will be waiting to view the winners!
