Took some good shots of Bangkok with some Delta 100 when I went last year.

I love the look of that film. The grain in it is sexy. Last time I shot with it I exposed for 400iso and had it developed accordingly. Was very pleased with the result... That's probably what I will end up taking... Maybe about 5 rolls...

I've not tried pushing it, though I've seen some good results with it. You should try shooting it at 100 as well, it's so smooth, and the contrast is just awesome.

I have. Honestly I started shooting it at 400 on accident, was halfway through the roll when I noticed. Then when I saw the results I decided I would shoot like that every so often. The only problem Ive had with Delta is development cost. It's much mote expensive to develop than other films. Worth it in most cases though.

Some Nikon glass is sexy. Expensive tho.

You should google some basic camera-care tips, like never touching your sensor :D

 :P
Is there a reason why the battery shouldn't be left in the camera?
Other than the battery would discharge faster I don't really see the harm in that.

that wearing out of the batter is so slow that i dont think people should care about it much. i have had battery on my camera for 2 years now and i havent noticed any wearing out of the battery, i bet there has been some, but its so small that i dont even notice it and i bet it has been because of normal wearing out of the battery, not so much because i dont take it off the camera..

5d mkII has so good battery, that i dont think it will have a big impact on your life if you recharge the battery every 7 weeks instead every 8 weeks after few years of usage. taking the battery off every time when you dont use your camera might make you miss shots etc, not to mention how much work it is compared to just switching the camera on button.

You must not use your camera much in order to make these statements. For every time I use my camera, I drain 3 whole batteries. Using it 2 times a week = a lot of battery usage. The concern isn't so much the batteries, but the camera instead. You do know what happens to a laptop that is constantly connected to a power source, even while it's off?

What pictures can you miss by taking 20 seconds to place your batteries inside your camera carefully? You shouldn't be using a 5d MK II while running. It's more dangerous than running with scissors. Of course I don't mean 'turn off cam remove battery.' I mean when you're done with it for the day, remove the batteries and memory card.

3 batteries wtf? how many shots is the 5d mkII battery able to take approx? i thought i have heard that it has better battery than 1d mkIII and my battery(that i have used for 2 years and that was used in press work over a year(=alot of recharges and careless use)) can take 1000+ shots still and i view the shots quite alot, have IS on 75% of the time and use live view and thats eating battery, without live view and checking the shots all the time i bet it would take 1500-2000 shots

I am probably just like Antichrist don't really use my cameras as extensively as you do. I have had my second EOS 40D for almost two years now and still runs on the same battery and with only around 8000 pictures taken :D
I have never found the need to even get an extra battery and one charge would probably last me for a few weeks even during the summer when I go out and take pictures several times a week. hmm ok I do get the remove
battery thing but why removing the card too?

I use live view a lot, IS is almost always on (unless there's heavy movement). I also record some video for an on-the-spot addition to slideshows :D

The memory card is just a personal thing for me. I like to keep my cards in their plastic card holders, and my batteries in their original yellow-plastic holds.
