5/10

No focal point, strange lighting, I won't say anything about the eyes.

They honestly look shopp'd to me. Vingrette is too strong!

The person paying $150 for it doesn't think so. ;)

All I did was add some contrast and darken it a bit, plus the vignette.

I think he was reffering to your foreposter.

Oh the shopped part yeah, but the vignette part was directed at mine. Unless I'm stupid and don't see the vignette in the other person's photo..

Looks like no one commented on this one, so I'll have the honor to do it :)

This is a perfect example of good use of light, what photography is and should be all about!
I love this picture, it is so inspiring!
Not often will I give this score, but I can't help but give it a 10/10

Here's mine... taken with frozen fingers that were about to fall off this morning with winds and -21 C..
Horses were inside for the night, and when I cam e home from work I let them out again...
They played for a while but none of my shots were satisfying... till I got this one when I could barely feel my fingers...
I cropped it to remove the ugly full-of-horse-manure-snow-background and added a texture.
Also increased contrast a little and vibrance (has a nice effect on chestnut/bay horses)

People pay for silly things, we all know this.

I agree that the vignette is way too overbearing, and are the black bars the border or did you just take a s/s from a portfolio?

Id like to see it without either of those.

Photo looks like taken from a fairy tale. Horse is also very well captured. The only thing I do not like in the photo is that the whole left part of it is empty. It does not seem balanced to me due to this. 7/10

as for my photo: which is better?

10/10.
needs some desperate burning/dodging, less copy of my eye enhancement, and vignette ~12% around.
