So yeah.. the last contest winner apparently died or something.

Does the decision go to the 2nd place holder?

edit: oh wait.. we have tied for 2nd -_-

The winner had already decided.
Now because he is not here and you don't like the topic you are willing to change the rules and decide for another subject...
Well for once, the topic was announced on July 24th, and I already have my picture ready and taken with this great open subject..
You can,t go wrong with such an easy topic!
Please abide by the rules and just go with it!!!

He said it in the old contest thread I think. And he didnt even clarify what it meant.

Ok sure... fine... let'S spend another 2 weeks arguing on what could be next contest, when someone already decided.
There must be something wrong with that user, so even if we accepted his submission last contest and we voted for his photo and we declared him a winner, there still must be something wrong.
Let's dig this further, maybe we can decide on another topic!!!
But I still like the Outdoor Freedom theme.
No explaination needed on that one.... pretty simple.

Well of course you like it, all your photos are outdoor photos.

So what is it? Like I said before, does it mean you have the freedom to shoot anything as long as its outdoors? Do I have to find a flag/eagle/gay pride parade in my area? I would have liked a little more of an explanation from the guy.

Architechture... reflection... motion... sphere...
Most I didn't enter, and the ones I entered I didn't get any vote...environmental portrait was the only one that I could relate to in all the contests...
It is wide open, you can find outdoor freedom all around you! Especially with kids!

I personally am struggling with any idea for this.. I don't know any young kids nor anyone that would be comfortable with me taking their photo.

Also, I believe an explanation of all the topics is necessary to resolve future conflict over the winner because someone didn't know the bounds of the contest.
