Yea was just talking with him, he is giving me the Nikon for sure so I will take that. Now to look into lenses, I will refer back to your earlier posts

What lenses are you getting with the camera, if any? And what type of photography would you like to get into?

With the Nikon I am not getting any.. it's just the body. It's hard to explain I suppose, but I am leaving for the Air Force soon and I just want to take pics of the different places that I visit so nature, people, objects that represent different cultures. Hope that helps a bit.

Look into getting the 18-200mm. If you are on a budget and can't afford 3x different lenses all with different focal ranges and purposes, this will be the most versatile lens option. Normally I'd suggest a wide angle zoom, a standard prime, and a telephoto zoom. But this lens will cover all that focal range.
