This was a difficult shot to get. First I got the lighting shutter etc right. I aimed the flash at a spot 4 feet in front of me. Then I set the manual focus by sticking a card at that distance to a light stand with a piece of gum. After that all I needed to do was. Sorry I'm a little late on that one....
But i usually troll this forum only at work on high speed internet..
I'm stuck on dial-up at home (28.8 to 36 kb connection ewww) and pictures take so long to upload...

But that picture is really a masterpiece imo...
Really I love it!!!

You should contact whoever makes advertisement (big companies ofc) and submit it if they are working on a campain against compulsive gambling...
Seriously.... the composition is GREAT!!!
I'm far from being a pro so I could be wrong, but wow that picture..... so amazing!

Set the flood light out so I would show up during the exposure. Had the flash go off on second curtain.

Today Is going to be a 2fer. Couldn't decide what shot I liked best and I think they compliment each other Quite well. You also get a bonus shot of one of my more elaborate setups. That's an eighteen gallon container up there. I figured someone might get a kick out of that.

I used a bunch of hair ties to hold a small glass rock bead thing to the shutter release button. I had the camera set to burst shot and the power shut off. My wife was on the roof holding the water so the container wouldn't come crashing down on my head. When I shouted at her she removed a small plastic floor mat that was holding the water in and I turned the camera on. It started shooting like crazy and all I had to do was step in the way. While I did have my wife release the water it was something I could have done myself as well. In the interest of time and my safety I had her do it lol.

Also. Who doesn't own a shopping cart?
